Vinyl Wristbands, sometimes also known as plastic wristbands, are the ideal product for multi day events. The highly durable product can last for over 2 weeks in the harshest of conditions without showing signs of wear and tear. These type of wristbands are commonly found at hotels and used as a way of monitoring the board basis of visiting guests – All Inclusive, Half Board, Bed and Breakfast, etc. Vinyl Wristbands are 100% waterproof and can be worn for months without needing to be replaced.

Narrow – A narrower look to the standard size which is more comfortable for the wearer but has a smaller printable area.
Wide face – A larger print area to include additional lines of printed text, logos or even QR codes depending on how it will be used.
Tabbed – Vinyl Wristbands can be supplied with up to 7 detachable tabs that are often used as drink / food tokens
Bars and Nightclubs use Tabbed Vinyl Wristbands where Patrons remove a Tab in exchange for a drink at the venue.

They are most commonly found in hotels, where guests wear them to clearly identify a specific board basis or entitlements. As a simple way for staff to easily see a guests status many hotels use different coloured vinyl wristbands. Plastic wristbands are a much more robust product when compared to Tyvek wristbands. Whereas paper bands start to lose structure after 48 hours, vinyl bands can be worn for weeks and even months at time. Hotel bands are available in the below plain colours and can also be customized to include text and logos or any other type of QR code. Our sales team can work on a digital proof for you at no charge to show how the wristbands can look. The most popular vinyl wristband is called an L shaped band – and this fits both adults and children. There are other sizes available depending on how the bands are intended to be worn. We also supply vinyl wristbands with detachable plastic tabs that are attached to the wristband and can be removed and exchanged for drinks or food commonly. As they are made of plastic, the bands can be recycled after use. Production time for custom printed plastic wristbands is 14 days from confirmation of order. For large orders over 5,000 units prices start at just 15c per band including custom print.

How much are Vinyl wristbands?
- Custom printed Vinyl Wristbands are available with a minimum order of 100 units. The overall price depends on the quantity ordered and the table above shows the breakdown. 100 customized plastic bands is €110 plus delivery costs. The overall unit price reduces when the total number of bands is increased. As an example 1,000 custom printed bands are €380 plus delivery. For orders over 5,000 units please contact us for a specific quote. There is a 14 day production time for Customized vinyl wristbands.
- We have a limited stock of PLAIN L shaped vinyl wristbands which are ready for immediate dispatch from our offices. We only have the standard L shaped size and a range of the most popular colours such as yellow, red, blue, white and gold. Other styles and colours are available and have a lead time of approximately 14 days. For other sizes, styles or detachable tabs then please contact us.
Do hotels use Vinyl Wristbands?
- Vinyl wristbands are the best identity product for use at hotels as they can be worn for the length of a guests stay. Plastic bands are highly durable and can be worn for weeks or even months. They are used to identify guests by clearly indicating the guests board basis. The hotel can then inform staff of which areas certain guests can use to eat, drink, or enter. Vinyl bands are waterproof and also tamperproof, which gives them ideal traits for use in pools or spas where chlorine is likely to be encountered. Hotels can add their logo, text and website onto the bands for added exposure, security and marketing!

Tyvek Wristbands can only be worn for up to 48 hours and that is not sufficient for many festivals. As the band cannot be transferred it also ensures the security of the event. For long term festivals the most commonly used identity product are fabric wristbands – made of woven thread – that can be customized and worn for months.

Charities most commonly opt for a more flexible wristband that can be removed and reapplied. This makes the vinyl option unlikely to work for most charity events. Vinyl Wristbands could work for charity events or fund raising marathons lasting more than 2 days. More traditionally charities looking to raise awareness tend to use Silicone Wristbands, which can be fully customized to include logos and text in full colour.

However if the event is lasting mroe than two days then a plastic band is the best option and can be worn for weeks. They are tamperproof and waterproof and cannot be transferred once applied. These traits make them ideal to control entrance at venues to clearly verify attendees who can gain access.
